Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 scant tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over quick oats.
    Let cool while preparing the rest of the cake.
    In another bowl, mix brown sugar, white sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
    Mix together and stir in oatmeal mix.
    Add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Put in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until done.
