Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. solid Crisco
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. pecans
Preparation

Cream sugars and Crisco until light and fluffy (about 10 minutes) using electric mixer. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to creamed mixture a little at a time. Add the oats and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet covered with foil, shiny side down. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool on the foil. Cookies and/or dough may be frozen.
