Caramel Corn Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 qt. popped corn (air popped is best)
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. salted or unsalted roasted peanuts
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. maple flavoring
Preparation

Combine popped corn and peanuts in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
Combine butter, corn syrup, sugars and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; quickly stir soda and flavorings. Pour over popcorn mixture; mix well.
