Punch Base - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 orange
2 lemons
1 grapefruit
4 tsp. tea leaves
2 qt. boiling water
Preparation

Take a sterilized jar or bottle and fill to the neck with clean crystalized sugar (fine white crystals).
Then take the juice of limes (lemons) freshly extracted and putting a glass funnel with a clean muslin cloth, filter this juice into the bottle, shaking the bottle to allow the juice to saturate the sugar (cork it tightly before shaking).
It will take the juice of nearly 2 pounds limes.
Cork it and place it in bright sunlight daily for 6 hours for 3 days.
This will keep for 3 months.
