Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. meal (not self-rising)
    1/2 c. flour
    1/8 c. sugar
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    buttermilk
    bacon drippings
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients together well; stir in egg.
    Add buttermilk until pourable consistency.
    Pour into iron skillet with hot bacon drippings; heat on high for about 30 seconds.
    Put in a 400\u00b0 oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
