Cranberry-Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Pastry dough for two 9 inch pie crusts
    3/4 cup water
    6 slice apples
    1 1/2 cups raw cranberries
    2 cups sugar
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    4 Tbsp. butter
    Milk, nutmeg and sugar for topping
Preparation
    Roll out half the dough and line 9 inch pie pan.
    In a large saucepan combine water, apples and cranberries.
    Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and walnuts. Cook until mixture thickens and boils.
    Pile mixture into pie plate, dot with butter.
    Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips.
    Arrange in lattice design over filling and seal to bottom pastry.
    Brush top with milk, sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until golden.
    Yield:
    1 9 inch pie.
