Rhubarb Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. rhubarb, chopped (fresh or frozen)
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. red Jell-O
1 Jiffy yellow cake mix
1 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Spread the rhubarb in a 9 x 9-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the sugar over the rhubarb, then the Jell-O, followed by the dry cake mix.
Combine the cold water and lemon flavoring and carefully spoon over the cake mix layer.
Melt the butter or margarine and drizzle over all.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serve warm or cold with whipped topping or ice cream.
