Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    scant tsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Blend shortening into dry ingredients.
    Add milk.
    Put dough on floured board.
    Knead as little as possible; pat dough, cut and place with sides touching.
    Biscuits will be light and fluffy if they are not handled too much.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
