Scalloped Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini
    1/4 c. onion
    1/2 c. fine crushed crackers
    2 beaten eggs
    1/8 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    1/4 lb. sausage
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook zucchini covered in salt water until tender.
    Drain chopped zucchini.
    Cook sausage and onion until brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Reserve 2 tablespoons cheese.
    Add remaining cheese, squash and liquid, crackers, eggs, salt and thyme to sausage.
    Mix well. Turn in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 until set, about 40 to 45 minutes.
