Meringue That Won'T Weep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    dash of salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix the cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar and water and cook over low heat until mixture is clear.
    Remove from heat.
    In a bowl, whip egg whites until peaked, then slowly add cornstarch/sugar/water mixture and beat until creamy.
    Add salt and the rest of the sugar and beat again until fluffy.
    Pile on the pie and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until meringue is gold-tinged (usually 20 to 30 minutes).
