Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
-
Cream
the
oleo and Crisco;
add sugar and cream well. Add
1 egg at a time, beating after each one.
Add flour, salt and nutmeg
mixture,
alternating
with milk.
Add flavoring. Sprinkle baking powder over batter.
Fold in.
Pour cake in a well-floured and
greased tube pan.
Put in cold oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Start in a cold oven.
