German Sweet Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
2 1/3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Melt chocolate over low heat.
Sift dry ingredients together. In mixing bowl, combine butter, flour mixture, 3/4 cup buttermilk and vanilla; beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add chocolate, eggs and rest of buttermilk; beat well.
Bake in 3 (8-inch) pans, greased and floured.
Cool.
Spread filling between each layer. Serves 10.
