Green Bean-Water Chestnut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen green beans or 3 cans green beans, drained
    1 can mushrooms, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can water chestnuts
    French fried onion rings or sauteed sliced almonds
Preparation
    Cook frozen beans according to directions.
    Saute mushrooms and onion in margarine.
    Sprinkle in flour, then slowly add grated cheese, Tabasco sauce, milk, salt and pepper.
    Let thicken; add water chestnuts.
    Mix beans with sauce and turn into greased casserole.
    Sprinkle onions or almonds on top.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
