Chesapeake Linguine(Serves 2) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 scallions, minced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and minced
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    1/2 tsp. dried hot red pepper flakes
    1 Tbsp. drained bottled capers
    1/4 lb. lump crab meat, picked over
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    2 Tbsp. dry vermouth
    1/2 lb. spinach linguine
Preparation
    In a skillet, cook the garlic and scallions in the oil over moderately low heat, stirring, until garlic is pale golden.
    Add the tomatoes, basil and red pepper flakes and cook the mixture for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Season with salt and pepper and stir in the capers.
