Yeast Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    2/3 c. lard
    1 tsp. salt
    4 heaping Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix warm water and yeast; set aside.
    Put in bowl the milk and 1/2 cup water and heat (do not boil).
    Add lard, salt and sugar. Add flour to thickness of pancake dough.
    Let cool to lukewarm. Add more flour and yeast mixture.
    Mix well and let rise double. Knead and cut; let rise again and fry in deep hot fat.
