New Orleans Baked Bananas With Orange Sauce - cooking recipe

2 bananas
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. fresh orange juice
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cut 4 pieces of foil approximately 4 x 6-inches. Peel bananas; cut in half lengthwise and place each on foil.
In a small bowl, mix orange juice, orange rind, honey and vanilla.
Spoon over bananas.
Top each half with a piece of butter.
Fold foil, then place on baking sheet up to this point, then above steps can be done ahead.
Bake 5 to 8 minutes.
If bananas are ripe, 5 minutes.
