German Baked Brisket - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef brisket
1/4 c. catsup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Brown meat in heavy casserole at 450\u00b0 for about 25 minutes on each side. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and pour mixture over meat and cover casserole with foil.
Bake 3 hours or until tender, basting occasionally. Slice brisket thinly.
Spoon over pan juices.
Serves 6 to 8.
