Hunt Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    4 slices sharp cheese
    salt and pepper
    oil for frying
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Form beef into 8 thin hamburger patties.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Lay cheese on 4 patties.
    Cover with remaining patties.
    Pinch edges together to enclose the cheese completely. Brown on one side in hot oil in skillet.
    Turn and pour tomato sauce over them.
    Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
    Serve piping hot with the delicious pan gravy.
