Irish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lemon rind, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can applesauce (1 3/4 c.)
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, salt, yolks, butter and lemon rind.
    Divide into 2 parts; press 1 part into greased 9
    x 9 x 1 3/4-inch pan. Mix applesauce, cinnamon and cloves; spread on top.
    Spread (crumble) other part of mix on top.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Makes 9 servings.
