Chocolate Oatmeal Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. pure vanilla
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Beat eggs until thick, about 3 minutes.
    Continue beating and add sugar, salt, corn syrup, butter and vanilla.
    Stir in coconut, oats and chocolate chips.
    Pour into prepared pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    (Pie will be very dark.)
    Cool completely before serving (leave the house if neccessary).
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
