Janet'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 cloves garlic
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. basil
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 or 2 cans kidney beans (undrained)
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    2 bay leaves
    2 cans tomato sauce (add water to rinse cans)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with the onion, pepper and celery.
    Add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer.
