Evelyn'S Vegetable-Oat Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium carrot
    1 medium zucchini
    1 stalk celery (rib)
    1/4 large green pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (including liquid)
    1/4 c. parsley
    2 pkg. George Washington broth or other seasoning
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
    oatmeal (uncooked)
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except oatmeal in blender and blend well. Pour into bowl and add 1 to 1 1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal; mix well. Add a little at a time until mixture is thick.
    Let stand until liquid is absorbed and mixture holds together.
    (May be mixed in evening and refrigerated overnight.)
    Spray frypan with Pam; form mixture into patties, being sure they aren't too thick.
    Brown on both sides.
    May be used for \"burgers\" or as patties with gravy as entree.
    These freeze well.
