Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
1/2 Tbsp. butter
2 egg yolks (combine with 3/4 c. cold milk)
3 c. warm milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt.
Beat egg yolks slightly and combine with the 3/4 cup cold milk.
Add to dry ingredients, forming a smooth paste.
Add warm milk slowly and cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add butter and when mixture is cool, add vanilla.
A little yellow coloring may be added for a stronger banana flavoring. Cool, stirring occasionally to prevent crust from forming.
When cool, cover and keep in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
