Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    4 c. cubed potato
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 can cream-style corn
    3/4 c. light cream
    1 large pat butter or margarine
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil onion in 1 cup of water.
    Add potato and boil until done. Add more water, a little at a time, to prevent potato from burning down.
    Do not drain.
    Add corn, cream-style corn, light cream and butter.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
