Strawberry Cream In Meringue Shells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites (at room temperature)
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    sugar
    1 pt. whipping cream
    3 Tbsp. Cointreau
    1 qt. strawberries
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until almost stiff.
    Gradually add 3/4 cup of sugar.
    Beat until sugar is dissolved.
    Shape into cups on baking sheet which has been lined with ungreased brown paper.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Turn off heat; cool meringues in oven.
