Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    1 c. orange juice
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 large apples, peeled and sliced
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream together 2 1/2 cups sugar and 1 cup oil.
    Add beaten eggs, 1 cup orange juice and vanilla.
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder and add gradually to egg mixture.
    Peel and slice thin apples.
    Mix together cinnamon and sugar.
    Pour into a greased tube pan.
    Start with layer of batter and alternate with batter on top.
    Bake at 320\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
