Cheese Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 small onion, grated
    black pepper and cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine Cheddar cheese, pecans, mayonnaise, onion, black pepper and cayenne pepper in bowl; mix well.
    Shape into ring. Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator for 1 day or longer.
    May fill center with jelly.
    Serve with thin wheat crackers.
    Yield: 70 servings.
