Double Quick Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. warm milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
    Stir in sugar, half the flour and the salt.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Beat in the rest of the flour until smooth.
    Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until dough is double in size.
    Grease 12 large muffin cups.
    Stir down the dough.
    Spoon dough into muffin cups, filling them half full. Allow to rise for 30 minutes.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
