Potato Wedges - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    vegetable oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Scrub potatoes; cut lengthwise into thick pieces.
    Cook in salted boiling water for 7 minutes.
    Drain and arrange in single layer to dry.
    Heat 1 inch oil in large, heavy skillet.
    Fry about 7 minutes.
    Drain and season with salt and pepper.
