Chex Tuna Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
dash to 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 c. Wheat Chex cereal, crushed to 1/2 c.
1 (9 1/4 oz.) can chunk light tuna, drained and flaked
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In bowl, combine egg, mayonnaise, dry mustard, salt, pepper, onion and green pepper.
Stir in Chex crumbs.
Mix in tuna.
Press gently into 8-inch pie plate with spoon.
Shape to fit like a pastry shell.
Toss vegetables with 1/4 cup cheese.
Turn into shell.
Sprinkle remaining cheese over vegetables.
Bake 25 minutes or microwave on High 5 minutes or until crust is firm.
Makes 6 servings.
