Heavenly Manna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. warm milk
    1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Add milk, melted butter, salt and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add yeast.
    Beat in 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour, beating well after each addition, until you have a stiff but workable batter.
    Cover bowl; let rise slowly until double in bulk.
    Punch down with wooden spoon for a minute, then scrape into well buttered 9-inch tube pan.
    Let rise to top of pan.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until bread is golden on top and sounds hollow when rapped with knuckles.
    Serve warm.
    Butter outside of bread for soft crust. (Instead of cutting, break with 2 forks.)
