Ingredients

8 to 10 eggs, beaten
4 Tbsp. vanilla
1 qt. half and half
pinch of salt
4 c. sugar
1 qt. whipping cream (add last)
Preparation

Beat all together. Add vanilla and whipping cream.
Put into can and fill to the line with milk.
Fruit or flavoring should be added before filling up with milk.
If we make this in the wintertime, we take the ice auger down to the lake and get two pails of ice and it works just fine.
