Cream Cheese Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. crescent rolls
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Press 1 package crescent rolls over bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Be sure all seams are closed (can put the roll between 2 pieces of wax paper and roll to size). Beat cream cheese, sugar and egg. Pour over unbaked crust. Press or roll out second package of rolls as before, being sure all seams are closed, then flip onto cheese mixture. Pinch edges together. Mix together the 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Brush crust with slightly beaten egg white so it will hold the cinnamon mixture in place. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture on top. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
