Old Fashioned Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 9-inch pie
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Line pie plate with bottom pastry; flute edges or prepare a braided crust.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Meanwhile, beat eggs in a large bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Pour into crust.
    Cover edges with foil.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
    Cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
