Moist Marble Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. cold water
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 c. cake flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.
    Add oil, vinegar, vanilla and cold water.
    Mix and set aside.
    Mix in another bowl the shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Mix both batters as for a marble cake.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes in 15 x 10-inch pan.
    Frost when cool and freeze.
    Freezing gives the cake extra moistness.
    Remove cake from freezer several hours before serving.
