Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium sweet potatoes
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes, covered, in enough lightly salted boiling water to cover for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender.
Drain; cool slightly.
Peel and cut into 1/2-inch slices.
Halve slices.
