Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    1 medium head cabbage
    6 bell peppers
    2 or 3 medium onions
    3 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. plain salt
Preparation
    Grind first 4 ingredients and set aside.
    Bring to a boil vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Add other ground up ingredients.
    Simmer about 20 minutes until changes color.
    Pour in sterilized jars and seal.
