Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. scalded milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt.
Gradually add milk.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add small amount to eggs and return to mixture, cooking two minutes.
Cool and add butter and vanilla.
