Spinach Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes frozen spinach
    1/4 c. chopped onion (fine)
    dash of salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. shredded American cheese, Monterey Jack or combination of the two
    1/2 pkg. crushed saltines
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 small can mushrooms
Preparation
    Defrost and prepare spinach.
    Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Reserve a few crushed saltines.
    Pour mixture into baking dish or casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
