Ingredients

approximately 1 1/2 lb. carrots
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. maple syrup
1 1/2 c. water
1 sliced orange
4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Scrape and clean carrots.
Slice in half.
Add water and salt. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
Uncover and cook 4 minutes or until liquid evaporates.
Add orange slices, syrup and butter.
Cook on low heat.
Turn carrots to coat.
Cook 15 minutes.
Serves about 6.
