Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1 medium size container Cool Whip
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 bag miniature marshmallows (optional)
Preparation
    Drain fruit; put juice into a saucepan and fruit into a bowl. Heat fruit\tjuice
    with cornstarch until it turns thick and clear. Remove
    from
    heat.
    Add egg; mix and reheat until mixture bubbles.
    Remove
    and
    cool.
    Mix fruit and Cool Whip; add fruit juice
    mixture.
    Put
    into\ta mold and freeze.
    If a decorative mold is
    used, mandarin oranges and cherries can be arranged in a decorative pattern.
