Chinese Peas And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. fresh or frozen shelled shrimp
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. frozen Chinese pea pods, thawed, or 2 c. fresh pea pods
    2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion tops
    2 tsp. shredded, peeled ginger root or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. cold water
    2 tsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Thaw shrimp.
    Heat oil; add shrimp and cook quickly until pink, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Add pea pods, onions, ginger and garlic; toss ingredients.
    Cook on high for 1 minute.
    Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt, water and soy sauce.
    Pour over shrimp mixture and cook until thick, about 1 minute.
