Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 9 medium potatoes, peeled
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cook potatoes for 30 to 35 minutes or until tender.
    Drain. Set aside.
    Fry bacon until crisp; remove, drain and break into pieces.
    Cook and stir onion in bacon drippings until tender and golden brown.
    Stir in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper. Cook on low, stirring until bubbly.
    Remove from heat; stir in water and vinegar.
    Heat mixture to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
    Add crumbled bacon and cooked potatoes into hot mixture.
    Heat through, stirring lightly to coat potatoes.
    (If desired, salad can be warmed in crock-pot for several hours.)
