Sub-Lime Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. coconut
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 pkg. lime jello
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. canned milk, chilled and whipped
Preparation
    Brown coconut in butter until golden brown, stirring constantly.
    Add the cracker crumbs and mix well.
    Press 1/2 of the mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Dissolve jello in hot water; stir in sugar and lemon juice.
    Chill until slightly thick. Fold in whipped milk.
    Spoon into pan.
    Top with remaining crumbs. Chill until firm.
    Garnish with whipped topping and a cherry. Excellent.
    Serves 8.
