Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 large cucumbers
    2 onions
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Cover pickles in water for 3 hours.
    Turn once during 3 hours. Squeeze out.
    Drain.
    Cook 15 to 20 minutes, then jar.
    Makes 6 1/2 pints.
