Lime-Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. pears (about 12 medium)
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (1 c.)
    1 lime (juice and grated peel)
    5 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel and core pears and put through food chopper.
    Mix all ingredients and cook approximately 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Pour into jars; seal.
    Makes 3 pints.
