Puffy French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2/3 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    cinnamon
    slices bread (day old)
Preparation
    Assemble ingredients and equipment. Combine ingredients, using muffin method of mixing.
    Cut into triangles, dip into mix. Deep fat fry 375\u00b0 to a golden brown; these puff up and become crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with dusting of powdered sugar, syrup or honey.
