Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. unsulphured molasses
    3 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Slowly add sugar. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
    Blend in molasses.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices; add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Turn into a 10-inch greased tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour in 325\u00b0 oven.
