Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    3/4 c. Carnation milk
    3/4 c. butter
    14 oz. pkg. caramels
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. pecans or more (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions on box and add 1/3 cup milk with 3/4 cup butter.
    Put 1/2 batter in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0
    for 10 minutes.
    Melt caramels with the rest of milk and spread on cake.
    Spread nuts on top of caramels along with chips.
    Pour rest of batter on top and bake for another 20 minutes.
