Apple Crisp Again - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rolled oats, uncooked
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    4 c. peeled, sliced tart apples
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, softened
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place dry ingredients in a bowl and mix to blend. Add soft butter and blend well
    with pastry blender or fork.
    Arrange apples in buttered 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Spread oatmeal mixture on top of apples and press down lightly. Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is brown and apples are tender when tested with a fork. Serve warm with ice cream.
